Banjo Lessons
The origins of the banjo come from West Africa and the Jola instrument the akonting. Played with a rapid down-stroke pattern (very similar to claw-hammer) the akonting has a compelling and warm tone. I have always loved the banjo and find that claw-hammer is an incredible accompaniment to vocalists and instrumentalists. I am happy to teach in person or online!
